Amazing! Popped in on a Saturday afternoon to get my front derailleur fixed. They fixed it straight away & checked my breaks at the same time. In & out in 15 minutes, so friendly and amazing service!! Will be recommending to everyone!

Douglas provided outstanding service during my recent bike search. His friendliness and approachability made the experience enjoyable, while his honesty and transparency ensured I got the perfect bike recommendation without any pressure. Douglas's all-around great service and expert recommendations were invaluable, making him a top choice for anyone seeking a new or second hand bike. Highly recommended!

Took my bike in for a service, could see the shop was extremely busy yet they still made time for me. After a few days they sent clear details/prices for the work that was needing done. She's now running better than ever and I couldn't be any happier with the Quality and Professionalism of Gear Bikes.

Gear Bikes...like something out of the top drawer for bicycle shops.
This is where I visit for legendary servicing and arguably the strongest wheel builds going for Downhill. Thus, anything else on wheel builds, you are certain they will keep you rolling successfully.
Have used Gear Bikes, Joe and his team since the day I got in to riding, 20+ years now. Never had any issue, only effective solutions.
Nothing is ever a problem for them, in fact the guys relish when it comes to challenging/complex an unusual jobs. They take pride in their craft, their customers and service.
Outside of the above, pricing wise they are spot on and I have often found charging less than you'd first think/expect. The remaining credits...should always be attributed to a crate of beer for the team.
Where ever possible, I always recommend Gear Bikes.
I moved north to the Highlands ten+ years ago, I prefer to travel 3+hours to drop in and later collect over using lesser quality services nearer to home.
For anything bicycle - Gear Bikes will ensure your gear is turning well.

Top GEAR. Joe, Ian and all at GEAR are amazing. They are incredibly skilled bike mechanics, the service is fabulous, very quick and prices great. I have been going there for over 20 years, just after they opened. Highly recommended and no Jeremy Clarkson.

Took my bike into Gear Bikes today for a small maintenance issue and was greeted immediately by Joe the owner who fixed my bike on the spot. Honestly couldn’t have had a more pleasant experience and I now know where to go in Glasgow for any bike related issues. Thanks Joe!
